Who are we?
Extras Ltd produce fashion collections of bags and accessories under the brands ‘Smith and Canova’ and ‘Claudia Canova’.
Our two brands are well established in the UK and Irish markets and are sold to our many varied clients, which mainly consists of independent retailers and department stores.
We have been around for a while now (going on 15 years) and a testament to the company is that a good number of the staff that where there in the early years are still with us today.
Our Head offices are based close to Leeds City centre with free parking where we also have a large showroom.

Advertising, Marketing & Brand Management
The Extras Group Ltd are looking for an organised, dedicated and hard working individual with a flair for innovation and an interest in fashion who is a good communicator to join our existing dedicated and hard working team to promote our two brands: Smith and Canova and Claudia Canova.
We are a well established brand with independent retailers across the UK
The position offers:
- 20 Days paid holiday plus 8 statutory days
- A basic salary between £18,000 - £25,000 depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Promote our collections to our established accounts.
- Too develop and execute an advertising campaign both through paper publications and the internet.
- Promote our brands to the public domain to establish them as a household brand names within the fashion handbag and accessories theatre.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or equivalent desired
Your PR knowledge will be second to none and you will be full of creative ideas and have a proven track record within media relations. You will have the opportunity to develop a diverse range of sales promotion and branding campaigns.
As part of the position you would spend most of your time in our Head office.

Sales Executive
We are looking for an organised, dedicated and hard working individual with an interest in fashion who is a good communicator to join our existing dedicated and hard working team.
The position offers:
- 20 Days paid holiday plus 8 statutory days
- Company vehicle
- A basic salary between £ 20,000+ depending on experience
- Sales commission related bonus.
Responsibilities
As a part of this position we would expect you to attend the many trade fairs we exhibit around the country and work at weekends when these fairs often occur. As part of the position you would spend at least 1-2 days in the Head office and 4/5 days on the road visiting our customers. A company vehicle is provided as part of the position.
Requirements
We require the successful candidate for this position of ‘Sales Executive’ to call on and look after our established accounts and prospect for new business.
An initial four weeks training will be given to the successful applicant, and further information on the position will be given at the interview stage.
We are a fast growing company and so there are prospects of promotion within the sales team.

Telesales
We are looking for an organised, dedicated and hard working individual with an interest in fashion to join us in selling and promoting our two fashion brands of handbags and fashion accessories: 'Smith & Canova' and 'Claudia Canova.'
The position offers:
- 20 days paid holiday plus 8 statutory days.
- A basic salary between 16,000 - 18,000 with additional sales bonus.
Responsibilities
- Managing office based sales for our large customer base of independent retailers.
- Proving customer service to our existing clients.
Requirements
- Must Be an excellent communicator.
- As we have recently begun expanding into the French market it would be an advantage if you were fluent in speaking and understanding French.

Machinist (Repairs)
Leather goods,and handbag repairer required.
Smith and Canova manufacturers of high quality handbags and fashion accessories, require a suitable person to work in their returns and repair department based in their Leeds office.
The applicant must be a capable machinist and would preferably have some experience of leathergoods or clothing repairs.
