We are always on the lookout for fresh, new talent and so we are planning to take on a number of interns in the coming year. The position offered is a year in industry, in between second and third year of your studies. We are currently looking for interns in the following areas:

Fashion Marketing Internship

The Opportunity:

We are looking for someone who will take up this amazing opportunity to join our team and throw themselves totally into this diverse and interesting role. We are a small team and offer the opportunity to grow in all aspects of the company. These opportunities can stem from content creation, press releases, influencer management, designing web pages and being able to be part of the design process of the collection. The position is offered as a year in industry, in between second and third year of your studies.

The Role:

As part of the Marketing team, you will work on multi-channel marketing campaigns for each of our brands: Smith & Canova, Claudia Canova, ARTSAC and CONSIGNED. You will also be responsible for managing the social media accounts and involved in creating content across online platforms as well as other ongoing tasks:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of our social media channels, using management tools to schedule and monitor daily content
  • Copywriting across online platforms, including product descriptions, blog posts and press releases
  • Working on a range of brand, marketing and digital design projects including:
    • Website banners
    • Email graphics
    • Designing Press Look Books
    • Creating still life photography / content for social media
    • Influencer marketing
  • Researching market activity and the latest news / trends
  • Pitching ideas for blog, editorial features and marketing campaigns
  • Coordinating photoshoots in our studio and organising external photoshoots
  • Managing the sample movement in & out between the studio / press teams / sales teams and production
  • Influencer photoshoot organisation

Additional Projects which will be made available (dependant on successful applicants)

  • Help assist the Creative Director with projects, including:
    • Product development
    • CAD drawing
    • Digital pattern designs
  • Working alongside the Sales team
    • Shadowing external meetings with our customers
    • Invited to attend trade shows to see how we exhibit our collections and interact with customers

The ideal candidate with have a strong skill set in the following areas:

  • An interest in all aspects of marketing
  • Social media experience (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Pinterest/TikTok)
  • Excellent grammar, communication skills and confident written English
  • Creative copywriting skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong practical knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop (desired but not essential - additional training will be available)
  • Able to handle multiple projects
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage your time effectively and prioritise tasks to meet a range of deadlines

Details:

  • Position offered as a year in industry, in between second and third year of your studies
  • We would like the successful candidate to work a minimum of 40 weeks, however, this is flexible and can be worked part-time. Please specify what you are able to work in your application
  • Office hours are 08:00 am - 16:00 pm Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
    • Part time is available
  • Paid placement: £100 per month
  • Paid travel expenses
  • Unlimited holiday allowance
  • Generous staff discount on products
  • Office is closed over Christmas (closes 24th Dec and opens 2nd Jan)
  • Opportunities to attend the UK trade shows we exhibit at, with all expenses paid for
  • Training offered in practical areas to be compliant at employment level, such as photography or Adobe software

Graphic Design Internship

The position is offered as a year in industry, in between second and third year of your studies.

The Role:

As part of the design team, you will work on design briefs for each of our brands: Smith & Canova, Claudia Canova, ARTSAC and CONSIGNED. You will be working closely with the marketing team to assist in marketing campaigns and closely with our Creative Director to assist in all areas of design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Branding design
  • Logo design
  • Website graphics
  • Email graphics
  • Literature design
    • Seasonal brochures
    • Look books
  • Creating social media content
  • Creating content for blog, editorial features and marketing campaigns
  • Photoshoots in our studio
  • Researching market activity and the latest news / trends
